Might be some space or different characters in the name.
Try Tools / Console and enter:

SELECT distinct albumartist, artist, album from songs where artist like '%ventures%';

See if all the albums under The Ventures shows up, and check if there is a difference in naming, ie.: if there is a space before | album.

I love using a dynamic smart playlist that chooses from all of my songs to shuffle, but there are certain tracks by certain artists that really just need to have certain songs come after or a certain intro before they play (basically all of Pink Floyd, but honestly a lot of my artists could use this in my opinion).

For example, a famous example is Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2. It works by itself but when it's played on the radio, it plays the song before as an intro. Could I have a rule that says "any time 'Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2' gets chosen, play 'Happiest Days of our Lives' before" and "anytime 'Happiest Days of our Lives' gets chosen, play 'Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2' after"?

I would seriously use this so much if it is possible.

I hadn't even thought to use the "-" minus sign, but it turns out to be far superior. Also the $ does nothing as far as I can tell there are no wild cards.

"genre:rock -hard -indie -pop -art comment:-amazon year:-20"
