<![CDATA[transcoded music not appearing in collection]]>I transcoded a bunch FLAC songs to AAC (mp4) in my Linux Strawberry collection so I could copy them to an external hard drive and then to my Mac laptop to sync to my iPhone with iTunes.

Weirdly, I don't see the mp4 songs in my Strawberry Library. I did a full rescan and also rebooted to no avail.

The mp4 files are in my Music directory so it won't affect my syncing plan, but I'm wondering why Strawberry doesn't see them.

I'm aware of it, it's a known issue, MP4 does not get tagged by the transcoder.

So now the question is: why were there no tags after I transcoded the songs?
