Can you try the latest from https://builds.strawberrymusicplayer.org/macos/ and see if it works now?

Installed the latest one, some of them showed up. Did a full collection scan and every single one of them shows up perfectly. 👌

The paths in the libraries aren't set correctly for plugins.
Working on a fix now.

I'm running Catalina 10.15.6 and just downloaded 0.9.1 (first time user)
I gave Strawberry full disc permission. I did a search for covers and afterwards only a handful of the images work. have some of the album covers on my drive and they aren't loading either. Love this music player so far. Thanks!

The file loads fine here both on Linux and and macOS catalina.
Tested both in the cover manager and in the edit tag dialog.
It loads when the song plays and in the collection thumbnails.
It might have to do with the mac restricting permission to the files for strawberry,
0.8.5 was Qt 5, while 0.9.1 uses Qt 6 so there might be some change in Qt that makes it restrict permission.
Try giving strawberry full disk access, in system preferences / security & privacy / full disk access.

Then please share one of your JPEG files that didn't work with 0.9.1.
There are many formats for JPEG, so it might be related to some specific properties on the JPEG file.

What macOS version do you run? What version did you install? (bigsur, cataline or mojave) Did you overwrite existing version when asked?
JPG support is plugin based while PNG is not, there might be a problem loading the plugin.
But there is also some special handling for JPG in the new version.
Can you share a JPG file that does not load, or send it to me on e-mail?
However all covers loads fine for me, and my entire collection has JPG files.

Only on the albums with a "thumbs.db" file. It fails to detect the "folder" image file on albums without the thumbs.db file.

Do you mean "edit track information"? It doesn't show any cover, if I try to load it from disk and click "save" a loading icon will appear but nothing will happen. This is on macOS Catalina by the way.

I linked the picture. The album in the Finder window to the left shows up fine, the album on the other window does not show.
