I can't find anything online about that. If not (which I'm assuming is the case), what are potential workarounds to this?</p>

No it doesn't.<br />
But you can keep two copies of strawberry.db and manually switch between them when strawberry is closed. The configured collection directories in the settings are also stored in the db</p>
