I use a DAC to play back 24-96 music files through my Logitech speakers and have read that using ALSA produces the highest quality output, but I note from tests that ALSA can only handle one audio source at a time (eg. if I'm using Strawberry, Firefox cannot play audio).</p>
<p dir="auto">Currently I use the "wrapper audio sink for automatically detected audio sink" option, and it seems to play back quite well.</p>
