I often hear (new, yet unheard) music in the background. When I then discover a nice track, I want to rate/mark it, switch to Strawberry, search the current track, set the rating, and go back to my actual activity. This distracks a lot.
It would be nice, if you add (global) shortcuts for this: Rate the current track with 1 star, with 2 stars, ....
Additionally it would be nice, if this can also be done via Dbus.
Currently, the "playing count" (Wiedergabezähler) increases, when the song switches to another one, just at the end.
I often hear a bunch of songs to test if I like them. However, for this I often hear only a few seconds of the song (especially, when I don't like it) and actively switch to the next track. In this case, the playing count is not increased, which makes it infeasible for me to check, if I already heard the track or not.
Can you make this configurable? Something like:
