Import play count data from Clementine
-
I've been using Clementine for years and racked up a serious play count; this isn't just sentimental value, i actually use this play count data fo find songs.
Unforunately, Strawberry isn't reading the play count data written by Clementine. Clementine is actually writing this data into the .mp3 file (i know this because my backup software updates the .mp3 files after i've played them), but despite Strawberry reading from the same music folder, all songs appear as if they were never played. The opposite is also true: playing a song in Strawberry will cause its play count to be increased by 1, but Clementine won't add that to its total. Same goes for when the track was last played, they don't read eachother's play count data.
This would be such a simple thing to fix, but i've never typed a line of code in my life. I haven't switched to Strawberry yet because i can't really let go of my play count data, or at least i care about it more than i care about using up-do-date software.
Of course i wonder how many people are in this situation, there can't be many Clementine users left and probably none that are still being kept from transitioning by this simple issue

@rakham You can import the data from Clementine. The instructions are here in the forum. I did it.
