Radio, in Strawberry, is a bit of a mess.

Mostly I've been using Pyradio, so I'll search (for example, find Boom Radio on Radio-Browser and then copy that URL into Pyradio.

I worked out that I can open a Radio Playlist in Strawberry - but it seems I can't add radio stations to the 'Radio' tab.

By opening the Radio Tab and appending those items to the playlist, I have a nice Radio playlist encompassing both these plus stations I had in Pyradio - the benefit being that it displays lyrics for many tunes/stations.

Anyway, for anyone interested - just go with a Radio.m3u playlist, save it, then edit...

      #EXTINF:0, - Boom Radio

      and so on...

Do Strawberry devs have an interest to improve the 'Radio' tab?

It would be nice if we could have possibility add to radio tab
For example, i really like radio library from http://all.api.radio-browser.info which is used in Clementine, soma fm and radio paradise is not enough actually.

@arukashi Just the ability to 'search' and get results from radio-browser to add would be enough, sure.

i agree, i have just switched to Strawberry from rhythmbox and it would be nice to see an option to search and add radio stations in the application.

I know very little about linux and code syntax by comparison to the others around here.
I started using Ubuntu 4 days ago and have reinstalled, twice, re-partitioned some drives to work with linux, and installed some software and done some updates.

But apart from the three url's im not really sure what the code above is doing and if that is what i need to put in a txt file to create a .pls for strawberry to add a radio channel or not
