Re-implement additional "playing widget" views from Clementine?

Hello! I've been a happy user of Clementine ever since it was forked from Amarok (actually helped chat through some of the UX/UI with David back in the day on the google discussion boards, haha) and had ZERO idea that this project existed until today - so happy to see the project is in good hands and still seeing new features and improvements!
So far my test run of Strawberry has been an absolute joy (so nostalgic!!), and I'm only seeing one feature "missing" at a glance - Clementine had a few additional modes for what looks to be called the "playing widget" in your updated settings pane. Screenshots of these options as they show up in Clementine:
Is there any chance one or both of these options could be reinstated at some point in a future update? I personally always preferred them to having the song info stuck beneath the cover itself. Feel like the code must have changed so much from back in the day, but perhaps there's a possibility this could be lifted out of the last Clem release on GitHub?
