Make time stamp for "playing count" configurable

Currently, the "playing count" (Wiedergabezähler) increases, when the song switches to another one, just at the end.
I often hear a bunch of songs to test if I like them. However, for this I often hear only a few seconds of the song (especially, when I don't like it) and actively switch to the next track. In this case, the playing count is not increased, which makes it infeasible for me to check, if I already heard the track or not.
Can you make this configurable? Something like:
Increase playing count:- when start to play the song
- when the current song ends (default)
- after a specific time:
- x seconds or
- x percent.
