What is the mood setting ?

Hello, I see there's a mood section in the settings. With a "mood bar" and all.
I wonder what is it, it's not very clear and I don't really see any change when switching it on/off.
I'm on Strawberry 0.9.3 on Mac OS Mojave

It's this (colors) instead of the regular progressbar:
But it only works for local files (no streams, radios, tidal, etc).

You can also enable the "mood" playlist column:

@jonas What good is the mood bar? It seems useless to me.
