Do not remove network share files from collection upon unmount
-
I've been using Strawberry (and before that, Clementine, Tauon, and a few others) and one feature lacking in all of them is the ability to specify that your music collection folders are on network shares. The vast majority of my music is on a large SMB share, and if I happen to start Strawberry when I'm not on my home network or VPN, Strawberry removes all those tracks from my collection.
While I do like this feature to auto-prune files that are missing, it would be great to distinguish between the files actually being missing and the share just not being mounted. Even if that means disabling the auto-prune for the network share, it would save me the 10-15 minutes re-scanning my entire collection (and thrashing the mechanical drive in the process).
I'm on Arch, running 1.0.2. Would be happy to help test if someone does decide to implement this!

@amr
This is exactly what I stumbled uppon in Clementine, I would like to see this feature. -

@amr Yes, this is the only point which worry me with this wonderfull tool, I do have to remember to mount everything before to launch it, else I can't add anything to my playlist for the next 15mns, with a big cost of time, electricity, hard disk.
At this point I'm thinking to replace the strawberry command with a shell script to try to mount things before any launch, and failed if it's impossible, which mean I will not use strawberry for anything else that my own collection. -
I guess this is the same: https://forum.strawberrymusicplayer.org/topic/776/prevent-automatic-collection-update
