Strawberry stops playing

Fedora release 37
Strawberry Version 1.0.10Strawberry stops playing at random times.
Do you have any ideas as to what is causing this
-
@rlkeeney
Maybe you enabled one of the repeat or shuffle options, for example "Stop after each track"? -
@jonas I have it set for repeat playlist and don't shuffle.
It stops in the middle of the track. I click the stop button and then the play button to get it to start playing again.
This started after upgrading to Fedora 37.

@jonas I have been watching this closely. It stops playing if I mute Strawberry and don't unmute it for a few minutes. Everything looks like it should be playing, but nothing is happening. Turning the volume in Strawberry down to zero does the same. I just now saw it stop. It played for less than two minutes.
-
@jonas If I mute strawberry from the panel menu and don't come back quickly, Strawberry will stop playing after a short time. Before upgrading it would continue to play.

This does not seem like a bug in Strawberry itself. Try setting ALSA as output directly instead of Auto or PulseAudio to check if the problem could be caused by PulseAudio or PipeWire. -
@jonas I'll do that.

@jonas Switching to Alsa fixed it. Thanks.
