      P

I see this feature has been (re)implemented in Release 1.2.12. The Settings --> Collection menu now has an item to skip leading articles when sorting albums.
      Thank you!!!
      🙂

@jonaski said in Resume Playback On Start:

The resume playback on start should work if you close Strawberry while a song is playing, then reopen Strawberry.
I'm not sure if it would work on system startup.

I know this thread is old but i have this same issue. In my mind turning off the computer is closing the app while a song is playing so why when its in the startup and reopens it doesn't play .. its weird logic .. oddly enough i got it working in clementine but only in mint cinnamon , in xfce it did nothing. also weird tho is it will work when you log out and log back in which again in my mind is the same as turning the PC off and on .. i dunno , i would love to use this app but i need the music to start when i turn on my PC so its janky clementine or quad libet for me.

odd this issues doesn't come up more or hasn't been addressed ever.

      It is still basically free.

You can create a repo on Github and then use Github Actions to create the binaries. From what I can tell its exactly what SMP is doing except they are sending the mac and windows binaries to a private server instead of publicly releasing them. Which is fine, everyone has to get their nut.

Not sure if its appropriate to give more detail then that.
