Tidal music catalog is not displayed. "Album .........not found (404) (2001)"

Created a bug report: https://github.com/strawberrymusicplayer/strawberry/issues/1061
Fixed. Looks like it was a quick fix so probably something changed on Tidal's end.
Might have to wait for a new version release some weeks because the last release was 6 days ago.

A workaround that worked for me:
It appears that the "not found albums" are albums that have been removed from or made regionally unavailable in Tidal.
So I went through my albums collection in Tidal Android app and removed them (the unavailable ones are greyed out) and now the refresh completes with all the newly added albums and without errors.
I only had remove to a few albums. Didn't count them but it probably corresponded to the amount of errors.

Hello.
What they say about the regional layout of the catalog may be a reason because I am using a VPN but I have tried to update without using it and the same error occurs.
It also happened to me the first time I had problems, that I put the quality in "losless" and a list of 65 albums appeared that failed to download and ended in error, and I think that may be the cause of there being a difference between number of albums and covers.
As for the Tidal collection, on mobile it is still complete and nothing has disappeared.
I also deleted the list of artists that was updated the first time in case everything was downloaded normally the next time, but that was when everything failed. -
It's my mistake, I changed the behavior in version 1.0.10 to return error instead of the results if there are one or more errors, however this was a bad idea. I've fixed it now, if you try the latest from https://builds.strawberrymusicplayer.org/ it should work again.
It's common for Tidal to return 404 for some albums listed in the favorites. It might be albums that Tidal have removed from their catalog, but still are listed in the favorites, or they are not accessible through the API, not entirely sure.

In my (Tidal official app) favourite collection the albums were greyed out and no longer showed up search results. So likely removed or georestricted.
Now using 1.0.10-9-gf48d133b, no issues but since I removed the error-making albums I can't anymore do a repro.

Hello.
I have tried to install the versions that the ubuntu index shows: ...strawberry dbsgym...ddeb" dated today 30 and it is not possible to install them with Ubuntu software or with Gbedy because "the dependencies cannot be satisfied"
The ones at the end of the list for amd64 give the same error. -
@Angel62
The dbgsym packages are debug symbols, you should not normally need to install that unless you plan to debug strawberry, and it does require you to install the normal deb package first anyway. -
I had to uninstall Tidal HiFi to log back into Strawberry Tidal, again reinstalling and now I can no longer update any playlists, authors, tracks, or albums. The tab closes instantly after starting a search, being impossible to give any results. Only the search for a particular row or author works. I give up my collection in Strawberry.

I don't understand what's this issue with the tidal-hifi app at all. I can use both at the same time. Assuming you mean this app.

Which version. Say the full build filename.
Have you deleted/renamed these user config folders whenever you have reinstalled Strawberry, even once as a test? It is not normally needed but something in the database might be messed up considering all the weird issues you're having.
~/.local/share/strawberry
~/.config/strawberryRename them to something. Launch Strawberry, login to Tidal and see if the problems still persist. If they do then undo the renaming and you'll lose no settings.
I give up my collection in Strawberry.
??
Don't worry about losing it since it is always synced back your Tidal account. -
The problem with Tidal Hi Fi is that if I reinstall Strawberry with Tidal enabled when I log in with Strawberry it opens Tidal Hi Fy and doesn't show that I'm logged into Strawberry. that's why I have to reinstall with Tidal Hi Fi not installed.
Today I have updated the collection and there are 77 more albums than covers. The result Album not found
I have not changed any of the configuration in the two routes you show.
The Tracks and Artist search closes immediately and returns nothing. -
@nonsequitur said in Tidal music catalog is not displayed. "Album .........not found (404) (2001)":
Finally, I have managed to update the collection thanks to the advice of "nonsequitur" to delete the albums that Tidal has been disabling from my mobile app and thus I could finally make all the music appear again in Strawberry.
Many thanks to the advisors and collaborators who have helped me find the solution!
