so earlier today after installing the application for the first time I added this stream to the playlist
      https://www.allradio.net/radio/17668

      it played well.
At the time I thought it was added to the list of radio stations as well and thought nothing off it. I continued to add several other radio streams.

After changing the theme setting and restarting the application the radio streams I added were no longer there.

More importantly on trying to simply add this stream to a playlist and play the station it gives me this
Your GStreamer installation is missing a plug-in.

      ../gst/playback/gsturidecodebin.c(1027): no_more_pads_full (): /GstPlayBin:pipeline-5-pipeline/GstURIDecodeBin:uridecodebin4: no suitable plugins found: ../gst/playback/gstdecodebin2.c(4701): gst_decode_bin_expose (): /GstPlayBin:pipeline-5-pipeline/GstURIDecodeBin:uridecodebin4/GstDecodeBin:decodebin10: no suitable plugins found: Missing decoder: text/html (text/html)

I inspected the webpage code and found the file format for the stream is MP3.
Strawbery appears to have a plugin for MP3 already installed.
There is no indication if gstreamer is refering to another typer of plugin like a dependency or a lib that is requierd for the MP3 codec to work, so I am at a loss.
Radio stations from the two predefined lists play fine, and the stream I am trying to add to the media player, plays fine in Firefox.
Does Strawbery require sudo apt update after install ?

The URL you added is a HTML webpage, not a playable stream, you need to get the URL to the actual stream.
