      I have some tracks in one album with two entries for the same MP3. The first one plays, but the second one plays until it is close to the end, and Strawberry crashes.

      ERROR:../gst/playback/gstdecodebin3.c:3463:mq_slot_handle_stream_start: assertion failed: (candidate->is_update || dbin->output_collection == NULL)
      Bail out! ERROR:../gst/playback/gstdecodebin3.c:3463:mq_slot_handle_stream_start: assertion failed: (candidate->is_update || dbin->output_collection == NULL)
      Aborted (core dumped)

        I believe this is same bug as described in https://forum.strawberrymusicplayer.org/topic/2303/strawberry-crashing-on-song-change/5

        The bug has been fixed in Gstreamer, but is not in the current latest release (1.24.7), so maybe ask your distro to patch GStreamer with the fix as the bug is pretty critical.

          @jonas Thanks,

          Is there any way to fix two database entries for the same track?
