Playlist view keeps adding unwanted columns
-
Recently, for no apparent reason, Strawberry has started to add unwanted columns in playlist view. Specifically, it started showing "Loudness Range" even after I'd opted to hide it. When I right click on the column header and select "Hide Loudness Range", as expected the column is hidden. But as soon as I move to another playlist it comes back, for all playlists including the one which was showing when I opted to hide the column.
Today it has started adding in a few other columns occasionally as well, though they aren't as persistent, "CUE" and "Integrated Loudness".

@Ringo
What version of strawberry? -
@jonas Version 1.1.3 on Kubuntu 24.04

Same problem here, usually adds the mood column (and others). Using versions 1.1.3 and 1.2.0-146-g6612eeb9. Thanks

I can't reproduce this here.
Is there a consistent way to reproduce?Can you try to start with a new config file and see if that makes any difference, rename
~/.config/strawberry/strawberry.conf
while strawberry is closed, does it then work with the default columns? If yes, can you modify one thing at the time and see if there is a way to reproduce it? -
@jonas I'm on 1.2.1-rc1 now. If I click "reset columns to default" and then customise columns the way they were before resetting, the problem is gone, ie no need to try with a fresh .conf. Thank you!
