Show BPM and Key columns in playlist view
-
Hi Strawberry team and community,
First of all, thank you for this amazing music player. It's an incredibly well-designed tool for music lovers.
I'd like to request the addition of two optional columns in the playlist view: BPM (Beats Per Minute) and Key (musical key or tonality), based on the TBPM and TKEY ID3v2 tags, or their equivalents in other metadata formats.
These metadata fields are especially useful for DJs, musicians, and people who organize large music libraries and need to sort or view tracks by energy level or harmonic compatibility. Nowadays, many tagging tools (such as Kid3, Mp3tag, Picard) allow saving this information to audio files, but currently Strawberry does not display or support filtering by them.
I understand this functionality may depend on whether the TagLib library exposes these fields, but it would be great if Strawberry could support them—either through Tag::properties() or as visible columns in the user interface.
Thank you for considering this feature and for your continued work on such a fantastic project.
Best regards!
