Option to sort within the collection like in the playlist

Similar to Darkmaster006, I think the easiest solution would be to have an option to display the collection with selectable columns, just like in the playlist.
That would greatly simplify the sorting process.

Yes, it can also be done using a playlist. However, if, for example, a new folder is added, the playlist needs to be updated again.

That would allow users to quickly select tracks from the collection, for example by genre, to add them to the playlist.

But otherwise, it's a really great program, and I love it.
