I have been setting up my laptop with a Windows 11 partition, a Linux Mint partition, and a shared partition formatted NTFS that both OSes can access. This partition is mounted at boot. That is where my music library lives. I am finding that I have to force a rescan of the entire library for it to be seen in Linux. I am finding that the Windows 11 install of Strawberry sees the library but the app is totally frozen.

Is there any way for the app to remember the collection?

Does anyone else have a set up like this, and perhaps does it work better with Windows 10?

Does Strawberry work on Windows 11?

I don't have much experience with NTFS on linux, and I haven't tested Strawberry with NTFS on Linux, I'm not sure if the file watcher will work. I suggest to start strawberry from a terminal and look for any debug output. Does it freeze on playback or just after starting it?
