Lyrics not displayed for any provider, even though they are available on their website
-
Hello there! Lately I've been having a little trouble with the lyrics for the songs in my library. I can't seem to receive any lyrics for the providers selected (Azlyrics and Musixmatch), even though they are available on their website if I search for them. I tried starting Strawberry from the terminal, this is the output:
I only see an error for Musixmatch, but I have Azlyrics enabled too, and can't receive anything from their side either. I wonder what could cause this behaviour?

Lyrics results are logged as debug, and your output isn't showing debug output, so it's not possible to tell.
Please give examples for exact artist and song titles (including all special characters, etc) which do not work and we can look into it. -
@jonas here is a song that can't fetch the lyrics:
and here is the Azlyrics song page:
https://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/pyogenesis/intheend.htmlBut it happens with the more popular songs as well, for example:
doesn't show any lyrics.

No lyrics works from azlyrics in version 1.0.23, looks like I fixed this after version 1.0.23, so it works in with the latest source code, so either build from source or use the builds from https://builds.strawberrymusicplayer.org/ until next release.
I can confirm musixmatch is broken now, must have happened recently, was working a short while ago, I see they have changed the website so strawberry is unable to parse it anymore. I'll have a look at it if it's fixable, otherwise musixmatch will be removed in the next release.

Lyrics from Musixmatch fixed now: https://github.com/strawberrymusicplayer/strawberry/commit/d1839d87e7cf6b6ab4232796975f4e21332300cb
