I don't get why I'm forced to pay $5.00 monthly when I have already been a paid supporter of the program multiple times.

I don't know how to compile programs so that is not an option nor should I have to do that.

      Maybe I'm misunderstanding something here?

Anyway I appreciate the update and the time you have put into the development.

      Thanks
      Mike

If you send me an e-mail on support@strawberrymusicplayer.org with your name and how you previously paid I can give you access to the downloads outside of Patreon.

I was able to download the new version 1.1 dated 7-14-24. It was the msvc version. Thanks! However I launch it and it pauses for a couple seconds and closes (crashes?).

I'll try the other version. I did uninstall the old one 1st.

              Thanks

Seems like a crash to me, but can you check Windows application logs (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/shows/inside/event-viewer) and paste the content of the entry with the crash here.
Also try installing the Visual C++ 2022 runtime: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#visual-studio-2015-2017-2019-and-2022

After some thought I've decided to switch to a different Windows player (MusicBee). I feel it will have better support (well it hasn't been updated in a while so we'll see) and has more of the features I want.

I used to be an Linux user and I'm happy that these user have a quality player (Strawberry) they can use. I wish you all the best.
