Hi, I love this project, it has become my main desktop music manager now.
But I miss the a BPM column reflecting the BPM tag of the audio files, it would be amazing to have it.

I will try to build the project from source and try to work it out, although I'm mainly java developer (my pet project is also an audio player http://github.com/octaviospain/musicott)

Any hints on where to start, coding guidelines will be appreciated.

I'm brand new to Strawberry Music Player; but I am 100% bumping this comment. BPM metadata appears to be the last missing component to my needs from Strawberry.

I am not a programmer, unfortunately, and am new to the forum. Sorry if this is inappropriate as a reply - offering no help and it being an older post. But I'd like to express my support to this request.

Any news on this? Not sure how hard it would be to add a BPM column to the main view.

@jonas could you add this feature request to the correct category?

@octaviospain A BPM column would be great. Also very helpful with smart playlists.

@brutus @BTAL @octaviospain Figured out why this cant be done. Right now the back end for getting Metadata uses Taglib, which currently does not support BPM at all. Changing the metadata Library would be needed to get this done, ffmpeg might be able to get this done, but i cant be sure about that
