      Hi,

I'm fairly new to Linux. It's because of Strawberry I switched completely from Windows to Linux. I used Winamp for 20+ years and found it hard to give up, but the equalizer in Strawberry matches that of Winamp which won me over. 🙂

I'm really grateful that Strawberry and Clementine exist because I wouldn't have made the leap to be honest!

So I noticed today the icons for my mp3s are suddenly a document icon, which is odd. They were always a music note icon.

I posted on the Linux Mint forums for help and was told the icons are usually assigned by the preferred application, which is Strawberry on my system. Is this true?

If it is, why has this happened, a bug perhaps? I'm using Strawberry 1.0.1 on Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon -- which by the way, integrates a dark theme superbly in to Strawberry 🙂

      Any help appreciated, many thanks.

No, strawberry does not set icon for filetypes. Icons for mimetypes are loaded from /usr/share/icons/ there is usually subfolders called mimetypes.
