Strawberry Collection is empty after reboot
-
I'm running Linux Mint 22.1 and installed Strawberry Music Player via Mint's "Software Manger".
I searched for an answer to my problem but couldn't anything.I added music folders to Strawberry's Collection from a separate partition on my boot drive but thay disappeared from the Collection after a reboot. The folders are still shown in Settings/Collection but not in the main play window. I can play the files by manually selecting them from the menu "Music/Open file" so I know they are valid formats.
Did I miss something or is this a possible bug? I really like Strawberry's interface and would like to continue using it if I can get the Collection working.

@Pentoga
Have you tried to trigger a update through Tools / "Update changed collection folders"? -
@jonas Thanks for the tip. I just tried that but nothing seemed to happen. After a reboot I got the usual "Your collection is empty!" so it still forgets the files that I just added. I'm hoping the problem is just a stupid user mistake that I'll eventually figure out. No luck so far!

Solved!?
Maybe I misunderstand what the "Collection" is for. I moved my music files from a separate partition to the linux music folder and now Strawberry automatically sees them in "Files". They are sorted exactly how I want them by genre/artist/album. I'm happy!
