Playback stops when Skip forwards in Playlist is used
-
Hi, I've searched the forum and can't see any mention of this, apologies if I've somehow missed it..
Using Strawberry (currently on 1.0.6-1 installed the offical Arco/arch repo) on ArcoLinux under KDE Plasma (also on Windows 10 on same hardware but don't have the problem there..),
over the last week or so, I've hit an issue where trying to play the next track in a playlist causes playback to stop (the OSD comes up saying 'Stopped' as if the Stop control had been pushed..I get the same behaviour wether I click the "Next track" button in the GUI, press the Next Track media key on the keyboard, or execute 'strawberry -f '
It does move to the next track in the playlist however, as if I press play after it has stopped, it plays the next track (and so on and so on, if I repeat the next/play/next/play presses..).
Have tried assigning a custom shortcut in KDE System Settings --> Media Controller (e.g CTRL + SHIFT + N ),
or directly in Strawberry's "Global Shortcuts" section, but same behaviour, 'Next' stops playback. Also tried unticking "Use KDE KGlobalAccel", and "Use X11 shortcuts" (seperately), no difference.
Normally I'm playing back files from my NAS, but I've tried it with 'local' files on this machine as well, same issue.
Have run it from console with --verbose,
whenver I press 'Next' (or execute "strawberry -f" ) , it prints the "saving playlist" line
e.g
19:04:59.898 DEBUG PlaylistBackend:335 Saving playlist 5Can I provide anything to help find the issue ?
I'm almost sure I've seen mention of libsoup2 / libsoup3 elsewhere when searching before coming to log this, but not sure where/if relevantthanks a lot,

UPDATE :
I tried strawberry under a test user and it didn't have the problem (tried it under KDE Plasma, Openbox etc to try and see if it was a window manager issue, or just per-user),so I've just renamed my normal/main user ~/.config/strawberry folder out of the way, and the issue has gone away..
If it will help with diag for anyone in the future, I can compare them.

Perhaps you accidentally turned on the "Stop after each track" option. It's left of the track slider. -

Oh my god, how did I not spot that !!D'oh !!
Sorry !!
I've always had it on "repeat playlist", I just restored my original .config/strawberry folder, and sure enough "stop after each track" was selected. So sorry for wasting your time !
