      Fedora release 37
      Strawberry Version 1.0.10

      Strawberry stops playing at random times.

      Do you have any ideas as to what is causing this

        Maybe you enabled one of the repeat or shuffle options, for example "Stop after each track"?

          @jonas I have it set for repeat playlist and don't shuffle.

          It stops in the middle of the track. I click the stop button and then the play button to get it to start playing again.

          This started after upgrading to Fedora 37.

            @jonas I have been watching this closely. It stops playing if I mute Strawberry and don't unmute it for a few minutes. Everything looks like it should be playing, but nothing is happening. Turning the volume in Strawberry down to zero does the same. I just now saw it stop. It played for less than two minutes.

              @jonas If I mute strawberry from the panel menu and don't come back quickly, Strawberry will stop playing after a short time. Before upgrading it would continue to play.

                This does not seem like a bug in Strawberry itself. Try setting ALSA as output directly instead of Auto or PulseAudio to check if the problem could be caused by PulseAudio or PipeWire.

                  @jonas I'll do that.

                    @jonas Switching to Alsa fixed it. Thanks.
