I have strawberry installed on two computers: a Linux desktop and an M1 Mac, and it seems like the audio quality is actually better than other audio players on each platform. I'm curious if this is just my head playing games with my perceptions or if there's a real reason why this might be the case. It seems like the audio is a little cleaner, maybe more crisp. I don't know for sure, but it just seems more clear. In particular why would Strawberry sound better than Apple's Music.app with the same combination of files, speakers and OS?
My apologies if this is just some kind of placebo effect that I'm rambling on about.

RE: Feature request: AirPlay on macOS
@timlance
Seconded. Airplay audio output managed from within the app would be an awesome addition. -
RE: What do you guys think of Pipewire?
@gentlegiantfan
I run my Slackware system with Pipewire instead of Pulseaudio. It seems a bit less complicated and the sound is excellent.
