I have often read while going through the issues on the GitHub Repo that you can switch the Backend to something else other than GStreamer. It appears to be possible on Linux, however is it also possible somehow on Windows?
If not VLC, what other options are available? MPV perhaps?
I want to try it out as the audio files I converted with VLC play back on VLC with no issue, while on Strawberry Media Player it causes it to skip a beat or two while nearing the end of some files. Converting the Files with Strawberry Media Player seems to fix the issue, however at a loss in quality and disk space (yes I made sure the quality was the same as on vlc. 128kb/s if anyone is asking).
