Thank you, Jonas. I don't know how I missed that thread when I was looking, sorry! Also, my browser is Firefox.

After reading more, would upgrading my OS from Mint 21.3 to Mint 22 likely mean I don't have any of these issues in the first place? Or installing using something other than flatpak? I don't particularly mind what method I use to install/run it.

And more information on the things I tried/looked at, below for more context/information (if relevant)

• I don't have anything for strawberry at /usr/share/applications/strawberry.desktop
• sudo find /usr -type f -name 'strawberry' returns nothing
• xdg-open tidal://test does nothing. However, flatpak run org.strawberrymusicplayer.strawberry tidal://test does add tidal://test.
  (My understanding is all this is expected if one installed via flatpak?)

I ran some commands to create a wrapper script/desktop handler (I didn't write any of it; I'm not an expert on this stuff). After doing that, xdg-open "tidal://test" started working and would add it to the playlist, but I would run into the same SSL handshake error that others are posting in other threads. I undid those commands after because they hadn’t solved the problem.

Hi, I have been listening to Tidal through Strawberry for a couple of years, but in the last few days logging in no longer works on the current version. System is Linux Mint 21.3 (Mint 21.1 also has the same issue). I tried uninstalling Strawberry (I didn't note the version) and reinstalled 1.2.23 from the latest flatpak, which had the same issue.

When I click "Login" in the Tidal settings, it takes me to the page in my web browser to login as always, but after getting the "Login Successful, You may now close this window and return to the TIDAL app" window, Strawberry no longer updates to being logged in, as it always did. The window will flash in the taskbar to indicate something happened, but no visible change happens inside the program and I remain logged out.

I uninstalled Strawberry again and installed Strawberry 1.1.3 via the PPI version, and that one DOES still work and login to Tidal successfully and let me play music (after using https://github.com/EvanViguie/strawberry-tidal-login)

I also had issues in the few days before Tidal stopped working completely, where I would only remain logged in for ~10-15 minutes before needing to login again.

Let me know what other information is needed, or what else I need to try. Thank you!
