I can play DSF files on my external DAC Aune6 Pro, after I installed gst-libav. But the files are converted to PCM and the DAC reports them to be played at 705 k. This is better than 44k which many other Linux players do, but even better would be to send the DSD directly to the external DAC for decoding, which is kind of the idea of having it in the first place
I understand that I can get MPD to do that, but would much more like to use Strawberry. Is there any way to get to this?
I could also buy HQPlayer, but would rather support Strawberry development.
