Open a terminal and run gst-inspect-1.0 spotify

I can't find that Linux Mint (which is basically Ubuntu) has gst-plugins-rs or GStreamer Spotify Plugin at all, I checked http://packages.linuxmint.com/ and https://packages.ubuntu.com/

The issue could also occur of you don't have a premium subscription.

Thank you, I did as you said and scrobbling with ListenBrainz is working again.

I sometimes find duplicate songs in my list . The only I have found to fix it is to modify the database manually.

I got Strawberry from the Arch Linux extra repo. Coincidentally, the package was updated a few minutes ago to add the missing API credentials part haha, so the part you mention about rebuilding the package (since it's done directly from git I assume) has been done.

@jonas Sorry I didn't get back sooner. I think that was it. I deleted that directory and it has stopped showing covers for streamed tracks.

No, unless they change the system, as far as I know.

@jonas after a reinstall it is now working, just rightclicking the progression bar

It was an issue with the flatpak runtime, it should be fixed if you do an update.
