importing CD collection via external DVD-drive

Hello! new on strawberry. heart great things about it!
probably missing some basic skills here , but i can't manage to import any CD via strawberry with my external usb dvd-drive . the songs from the cd are visible in playlist but can't copy to collection or to HD. working on ubuntu studio.

@lostandfound I'm new myself just got it set up and I am not familiar with Linux systems, but what I am doing is importing my music files to the music folder on the system HD. Just close Strawberry and do that then you should be able to find it by running a scan. I think,, I hope! Good Luck with it, Ray

You need to rip the CD with a program such as k3b first.
k3b is a good CD ripping and burning program.
