      Hi,
So here's my problem : I have around 10000 audio files, mainly mp3 but also ogg, and they all have replay gain info. I can see it in the metadata, and it works fine with other players like foobar2000.

But with strawberry it doesn't for some reason. When I look at track info in strawberry, it either shows no replay gain data, or it is set to "unknown".

I have tried turning replay gain on and off, tried EBU R 128 and did a full collection rescan each time, it doesn't change anything.

If someone has any idea how to fix this I would be grateful. 🙏

I'm on linux mint, by the way.

@Nobody, I've had the same problem for a while now. I have never got to the bottom of it.

Just like you, it behaves as if there are no replay gain tags to be found. I've verified them in other players (Audacious, DeaDBeeF) and command line tag utilities, they are there.

Some of the help I've seen suggests that it is a gstreamer issue, but I don't even have gstreamer as an engine option on mine (Version 1.2.7), it's using "Plays to a Pulse Audio Server" (I'm using pipewire for sound).

I'm about to give up and find another player. Pity, I quite like the interface, especially the lyric finder works quite well for me.
