MusicBrainz tag fetcher is not working?

Every time I try to use the tag fetcher to get MusicBrainz tags, it says, "Sorry Strawberry was unable to find results for this file", even for incredibly well-known songs. Am I doing something wrong? How can I get it to work?

What version are you running? -
@jonas 1.2.23 . I installed the Flatpak for Linux Mint. I didn't know there'd been an update, so I'm gonna go see if updating helps.

@jigglypuff I have quickly overwhelmed myself. The Flatpak has no update, and I am trying to install from the tar.gz file with no understanding of what I'm doing.

@jigglypuff Still no idea what I'm doing with tar.gz. I did figure out apt install, but after installing through that process, I now apparently have 1.0.23-1build3?? Did that take me backwards??

Please try the latest release 1.2.30 as it has better error logging for the tag fetcher.
You can use the Ubuntu PPA (https://wiki.strawberrymusicplayer.org/wiki/Ubuntu_PPA), or the equivalent Ubuntu Noble package: https://github.com/strawberrymusicplayer/strawberry/releases/download/1.2.30/strawberry_1.2.30-noble_amd64.deb -
