I don't care about Mac. Half of the forum is dedicated to Mac. Its a closed source, secretly developed POS. I don't want it. I wish Strawberry was primarily developed for libre software. Not closed soruce secret spyware.
My problem is that you created at least 3 dotfiles in my home folder. What for? Yest another unnecessary junk polluting my Home folder with multiple dotfiles. Zero dotfiles. I do not want a music player to do that.
      Thanks,
      you can ban me now.

The forum isn't dedicated to mac. But there have been more issues specific to macOS than Linux or Windows, primarily because I don't use mac and it's been harder for me to fix those issues.
I estimate that we have around 80% Linux users, than only 20% mac and windows users. I know this because of web statistics, e-mail I receive and issues reported on GitHub, etc. It's also mostly advertised through Linux distros and web sites reviewing linux software.
Strawberry uses standardized locations for dotfiles under .config and .share.
