One more for this error. Anyone know what causes this.
I cannot use Strawberry player for more than a half hour or so before this error pops up for any attempted track.
I use subsonic to load my music although the same error occurs with the main music library.
In desperation I installed Clementine which works flawlessly but is, I see, no longer developed?

I would like to move to Strawberry and support you but, if I can't get it to work that would be pointless 🙂

WIlling to work through some stuff with a kind and smart individual (or many)

What version are you running? What audio format does this occur with? What OS?

Hi Jonas, thanks for the reply and, head slap moment when I realised how little information I had offered regarding this problem 🙂
The player version is reporting 1.0.23
I keep most of my music in FLAC so that would be the format.
I use (K)Ubuntu and the issue seems to arise, mostly, when trying to stream from my Nextcloud Subsonic server.
When I made this post last night Strawberry had stopped playing any sources at all (I also have my music collection available via NFS as a mounted directory)
Today the issue has cleared completely as it does but I am certain that it will be back 🙂
Is there some logging I can switch on to try and help diagnose what is going wrong? I'm fairly sure it's not a nextcloud music issue as I switched to streaming via that program and a browser when my music stopped in Strawberry and this worked fine. I suppose it could be the Subsonic implementation?

It's odd why Strawberry reports the FLAC files to be txt files however?

Anyway, great work on Strawberry, I like it a lot...only just noticed yesterday that the little strawberry in the alerts bar empties slowly as the playlist goes through, that's attention to detail 🙂 (on your part not mine!)

Anyway, if we can try and find a solution to this I would be grateful as it's a bit frustrating, and especially when you are not a programmer/developer and really can't even begin to figuire out what's going wrong.

            Best regards,

            James Pirie

              @jpirie Aaaand three days later!

              ![alt text](strawberryerror.png image url)
But only on the Subsonic collection.
              I'm stumped 🙂

That looks like a different issue than @rlkeeney had.
What version of GStreamer do you have?
