MPC Audio files are not working

I have only a few MPC (Musepack) files in my collection. Strawberry cannot play them. Just stays silent (no crash, but doing nothing). All other applications (foremost Clementine, but also smplayer and mpv) have no problem, so it looks like a Strawberry issue.
This is using Linux (Opensuse 15.5) , version 1.0.22-bp155.2.6.1 from "Backports" and all gstreamer "bad" and "ugly" codecs enabled. and this is in my log (journalctl -f):
