I have Strawberry configured to output to a JACK server. This works for me just fine usually, out_jackaudiosink-xx_1 going into the left system channel, out_jackaudiosink-xx_2 going into the right system channel, as intended with stereo audio files.

However, whenever I play a mono file, out_jackaudiosink-xx_2 disappears (which is understandable, no real use for it with single channel audio), but out_jackaudiosink-xx_1 stays only in playback_1, which is the left system channel.

Of course, the obvious solution is to just link up out_jackaudiosink-xx_1 to playback_2 as well, however doing that every time I hear something in mono is in all honesty quite obnoxious, not to mention it resets if I skip a track or start another one. Is there any way to get around this?
