Skins do not change after I apply it...

Hello
New here - like Strawberry app so far.I installed it on a Linux system and upon trying to check/set a different skin, when I click apply nothing changes.
I also tried each skin and restart application.
Then I went to check its config file and I see when I choose any skin and click apply, it does change in config, never changes Strawberry's appearance though
