Hi, I want to apologize for the generic request but figured someone might be interested even if this is not approved by moderators.

I found Strawberry after an unsuccessful attempt with Clementine (which would play .mp3 but not .wav files). Strawberry straight up won't play anything at all and won't even load the requisite files into the playlist after selecting the directory. After my third attempt to find a player that worked I settled for Rhythmbox (which plays all formats as expected just fine.) Seems like a total air ball and I'm wondering if it's just a straight up incompatibility in general?

Again, I know this is so general and vague but someone might be interested as the pop OS demographic is not insignificant.

My lsb_release output is as follows. I'm a bit bummed because the interface looks a lot more modern but...

      lsb_release -a
