Volume HiRes flac on SB 1.2.19 Mac barely audible

Flac 44.1 kc/16 bit on SB Mac perfect volume. Flac 96 kc/24 bit on SB Mac barely audible. I have multiple CD's in this format all with the same result. When I perform the same test on my Linux Mint computer there is no difference in volume between de normal and HiRes flac files.

@dick In the above described situation the replaygain setting in SB was on but there were no Replaygain tags in de HiRes files. No i've added replaygain tags to the files and they play ok now.
