      Hey guys,

I'm not sure if this belongs here or in the feature suggestion space, but I'm really hoping it belongs here. I also apologise if this has been raised before, but the search bar couldn't find it.

My primary method of listening to music is shuffling the genre I feel like at the time. This requires custom genres and occasionally multiple of them for a single track. Strawberry seems to do the first no problem, but I have yet to find a way to manage multiple genres per track.

Am I missing a setting for the chosen delimiter, or to enable it at all, or is it a missing feature?

      Thanks for your time,

      Celdin_Terrified

This could enter in the Suggestion Feature indeed, because the idea of organize songs with multiple genres is interesting. Now, for the current state, I recommend you to manually organize the songs with multiple genres, 'cause based in what you said, there's only some exceptions with multiple genres, while most of your songs have a single genre. Or you can put a single genre instead to organize them more easily; I can tell you based by experience the songs with multiple genres can be troublesome.

@cherrystraw Thanks for your response. Guess I'll head over there and make a point there.

How would you suggest manually organising them? I have two potential methods: playlists, which has a risk of 'data loss' (I seem to lose my playlists a little too frequently); and duplication, where I have a copy of the song with the different genre. Duplication fits my needs best, I think but it's a messy solution.

@celdin_terrified I suggest you to duplicate the files. It's a messy solution, yes, but the data remains completely intact; Speaking from experience of course, I have various albums and songs with multiple genres and I rather duplicate 'em than changing the metadata, for example.
