Did Tidal break Strawberry access?
I've followed the simple instructions re Oauth and the key, but Tidal gives an error when I am handed off to the website to login. Has anyone recently logged in to Tidal successfully on Strawberry? Thanks.

Tidal with OAuth works fine here.
There is a possible working guide here: http://timothyjohnson.me.uk/posts/2021/01/16/Tidal_API_for_Linux/
But did not try that one.
@jonas Thanks for replying. I had already found that link, but was not successful. I have tried different browsers, logged-in vs logged-out. I get the same error from tidal. I am using the token provided on my Android phone.
This is too bad, because it's a dealbreaker for me for Tidal (I'm on Linux). Love the app for other things, tho.

I can confirm the problem - I've tried for a long time to get this to work, but to no avail - I've used both Firefox and Brave browsers, and Client ID from both Android and Windows.
So if it works for you @jonas, it would be great to know what OS and browser you're using - and where did you get your ID from?
Something you do must be different from what we do

OAuth login works here both with Firefox and Chrome, Linux and Windows. I've tested on macOS with Safari, but that was a while back.
On linux the critical part is that the .desktop file is installed and the "mimetype" entry contains
For Windows Tidal must exist as a URL Protocol in the registry, this should be done by the setup https://github.com/strawberrymusicplayer/strawberry/blob/db6aac603c7f557731a1ba3a13817e9c3b69770a/dist/windows/strawberry.nsi.in#L701
This conflicts with the official Tidal app, so if you installed the Tidal app after you installed Strawberry, it will probably stop working with Strawberry.
But this doesn't get triggered before you get a successful login on Tidal when forwarded to Tidal by Strawberry. if you get an error there, the App ID could be wrong.
I don't remember where I got the App ID from. It was long ago, 2018 I think.
