That doesn't work for me either. In clementine it kind of works. Recently played includes full albums even if only one track from the album has been played...

That would be great indeed. The Dbus support I guess it refers to MPRIS (https://specifications.freedesktop.org/mpris-spec/latest/) right? If one could set the rating from a MRPIS widget in the desktop tat would be awesome!
