@Lucidae is it that it's listing the artirsts by their last name? If so I have the same issue
For example Serj Tankian in this image -

I can remember that the program used to sort album artists through their first name and I noticed today that it changed to sorting it by their last name. I looked everywhere trying to revert this and even deleted my .conf file, but to no avail. Can someone help me? For example. I want Serj Tankian to show under S instead of T:
