      Just a suggestion if you want something relatively simple for radio streams. PLS playlist file:

      Create following in text editor (i.e. Notepad), save with .pls extension (i.e. "Radio.pls).
      [playlist]
      numberofentries=2
      File1=Stream URL
      Title1=Whatever title you want
      File2=Stream URL
      Title2=Whatever title you want
      and so on...

      If you want them in some specific order and add new ones later you just increment numbers.

      @gentlegiantfan I'm pretty much where you are in regard to Pipewire. I'm on OpenSuse Leap 15.3 and sticking with PulseAudio for now. I've gotten reasonably familiar with tweaking the configuration files for various reasons. Recently I've been working with a new, dual-boot Windows/Linux install on an HP laptop. I've gotten Strawberry where I feel it's pretty solid now.

      Linux audio, to put it mildly, can be pretty temperamental (although not as much as wireless networking). Depending on the Linux flavor you use, you may find more help on the forum for that OS. Majority of audio issues I've had were more in that realm than individual programs.

    • Home button file path change

      In Strawberry:
      I did not see any way in Settings to change the default file path that the Home button uses. I can only reach alternate destination by typing it in the text box next to the Home button.

      In Registry:
      I located HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Strawberry\Strawberry\MainWindow\file_path, but after changing the value C:\Users"username" to E:\Music it reverts back to the original value.

      This is Windows 10 OS, with Strawberry version 1.0.1 on QT 6.2.2. Am I missing something here?

      @snakefinger After searching debug I did find a post where someone launched with "gdb" program. I tried to match their steps but didn't get any DEBUG lines. I have no idea if I'm doing any of this correctly. If anyone can assist, please do. Thanks.

    • RE: What does "Intro tracks" repeat mode do?

      @v1993 +1 on this question. Maybe it is a planned (future) feature but when I saw it I thought maybe it played the first 30 seconds (or some other duration) of each track in a playlist. I've tried enabling it before or after loading a playlist but nothing really seems to happen. Just curious.

      @snakefinger I'm a bit lost on how to go about getting the debugger working.
      To begin, I'm not sure which of the rpm files to use for OpenSuSE (el, fc, lp, mga).
      Since I previously used lp I went with that and installed both debug-info and debug-source. I show debug-info installed along with the base version of Strawberry but nothing about debug-source which YaST software manager said was installed successfully. If I launch Strawberry the Console doesn't seem to do anything, and I don't see anything via command line that would indicate how to launch in debug mode. I hunted around but haven't found instructions on using the debugging/console features. Thanks for your help.
      Note: If this would be easier in Windows I can try it that way.

      Just a suggestion if you want something relatively simple for radio streams. PLS playlist file:

      Create following in text editor (i.e. Notepad), save with .pls extension (i.e. "Radio.pls).
      [playlist]
      numberofentries=2
      File1=Stream URL
      Title1=Whatever title you want
      File2=Stream URL
      Title2=Whatever title you want
      and so on...

      If you want them in some specific order and add new ones later you just increment numbers.
