Just wondering if their is a way to get control of Strawberry remotely over Ethernet. I don't have Wi-Fi at home, rather I won't have Wi-Fi at home. Running Strawberry on dedicated machine with Fedora 34. My other computer (laptop) uses Linux Mint. I'm not sure is there is perhaps a piece of software already available that may enable this. I would only need to be able to change track or album. I must say I am delighted with the sonic upgrade I has used J River for years which was not it'self at fault, rather it was attributed to the notoriously noisy windows operating systems.

You can ssh with commandline options or MPRIS2/qdbus.

        See: strawberry --help

        and: https://github.com/strawberrymusicplayer/strawberry/wiki/Using-MPRIS2-to-get-information-and-control-playback
