spotify "track not found"

im not very smart with this stuff so please be kind if an answer is screaming in my face how to fix it
i recently downloaded strawberry music player on my Linux mint laptop and any time i try to play a track from spottily it says
Resource not found.

What version of gst-plugins-rs do you have?
The GStreamer Spotify plugin needs librespot 0.8 to play tracks, which is in version 0.14.4 and newer. -

The issue could also occur if you don't have a premium subscription. -

Open a terminal and run
gst-inspect-1.0 spotifyI can't find that Linux Mint (which is basically Ubuntu) has gst-plugins-rs or GStreamer Spotify Plugin at all, I checked http://packages.linuxmint.com/ and https://packages.ubuntu.com/
